All Original 1930's depression era copper porch light (all copper except for the top finial and the chain). Although this does have some patina there is no rust or damage, I don't think that it was actually used outside. The lamp body or lantern is a hexagon shape with amber crackle glass panels. The soldered joint copper crossed rods are designed to protect the glass from damage. It has open-ended bottom for easy access to the light bulb. The single socket is original and intact with a chain pull (we have left it in the "on" position so that it can be operated with a wall switch). Requires Standard Base Bulbs - 60W max. (NOT INCLUDED). We highly recommend LED bulbs as they give off less heat and are energy efficient. This gives a nice warm glow and makes a really nice pattern on the walls - would look great in a hallway. The chain can be easily shortened.
