Lamps in this “Saturn” style were produced by many companies around the globe. They became popular in the 1920s, 1930s. The white milk glass shade is old but the the rubbed bronze fitter is new. This fitter has a ball joint that allows the glass shade to hang level. These antique light fixtures were typically found in Schoolhouses, Department Stores and many Industrial Settings. These have such a great mid-century vibe that they look great almost anywhere: in entries, stand alone in vintage kitchens or bathrooms, drops over islands or counters, and hallways. These antique light fixtures provide lots of light and plenty of historic charm. Requires Standard Base Bulbs - 100W max. (NOT INCLUDED).
